Associate

Carter M. Courtney is an Associate at Pierce Law Group LLP and works in the practice areas of civil litigation and intellectual property. Carter was admitted to the Bar in December of 2021. Prior to joining Pierce Law Group, Carter interned for the Intellectual Property Counsel to the City Attorney of Los Angeles, and interned at Weinberg Gonser LLP doing litigation and trademark work.

Carter completed his J.D. at Loyola Law School, with a concentration in intellectual property. There, he served as Chief Technical Editor for Loyola’s Entertainment Law Review, and was President of Loyola’s Intellectual Property and Cybersecurity Society. Carter received his undergraduate degree in Cinema Studies at New York University.
