Vera Golosker is a litigator at Pierce Law Group LLP and works primarily on entertainment matters concerning copyright infringement, trademark infringement, right of publicity, breach of contract, unfair business practices, partnership dissolution, fraud, and labor and employment.  Vera also drafts opinion letters for production clients concerning matters such as fair use of copyrighted works.  Vera serves as Secretary of the Beverly Hills Bar Association's Intellectual Property, Internet, and New Media Section.
Vera received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California Hastings College of the Law, where she earned the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her achievement in Forensic Evidence.  While in law school, she served as the Alumni Editor of Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal, and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Stephen Marcus in Los Angeles Superior Court.  She was also involved in the Cooperative Restraining Order Clinic, and taught a high school class in Oakland as part of the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Law Initiative.  Vera earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and minors in Spanish and News, Media and Society from University of Southern California where she graduated with honors and was a Renaissance Scholar, National Society of Collegiate Scholars member, and part of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.  
Prior to joining Pierce Law Group, Vera worked at Petrullo LLP in the area of corporate litigation.  Vera has lived abroad in Madrid, Spain and Buenos Aires, Argentina.  She is originally from Moscow, and is fluent in Russian and Spanish.
